A funny Quote

I came across a funny quote across the internet. It reads...

"We love to spend thousands of dollars in buying new clothes, but always fail to realize that life's most pleasurable moments are felt only without any of them"

Value of a Relationship in a Marriage

When I got home that night as my wife served dinner, I held her hand and said, I've got something to tell you. She sat down and ate quietly. Again I observed the hurt in her eyes.

Suddenly I didn't know how to open my mouth. But I had to let her know what I was thinking. I want a divorce.. I raised the topic calmly.

She didn't seem to be annoyed by my words, instead she asked me softly, why?

I avoided her question. This made her angry. She threw away the chopsticks and shouted at me, you are not a man! That night, we didn't talk to each other. She was weeping. I knew she wanted to find out what had happened to our marriage. But I could hardly give her a satisfactory answer; she had lost my heart to Dew. I didn't love her anymore. I just pitied her!

With a deep sense of guilt, I drafted a divorce agreement which stated that she could own our house, our car, and 30% stake of my company.

She glanced at it and then tore it into pieces. The woman who had spent ten years of her life with me had become a stranger. I felt sorry for her wasted time, resources and energy but I could not take back what I had said for I loved Dew so dearly. Finally she cried loudly in front of me, which was what I had expected to see. To me her cry was actually a kind of release. The idea of divorce which had obsessed me for several weeks seemed to be firmer and clearer now.

The next day, I came back home very late and found her writing something at the table. I didn't have supper but went straight to sleep and fell asleep very fast because I was tired after an eventful day with Dew.

When I woke up, she was still there at the table writing. I just did not care so I turned over and was asleep again.

In the morning she presented her divorce conditions: she didn't want anything from me, but needed a month's notice before the divorce.

She requested that in that one month we both struggle to live as normal a life as possible. Her reasons were simple: our son had his exams in a month's time and she didn't want to disrupt him with our broken marriage.

This was agreeable to me. But she had something more, she asked me to recall how I had carried her into out bridal room on our wedding day.

She requested that everyday for the month's duration I carry her out of our bedroom to the front door ever morning.. I thought she was going crazy. Just to make our last days together bearable I accepted her odd request.

I told Dew about my wife's divorce conditions.. . She laughed loudly and thought it was absurd. No matter what tricks she applies, she has to face the divorce, she said scornfully..

My wife and I hadn't had any body contact since my divorce intention was explicitly expressed. So when I carried her out on the first day, we both appeared clumsy. Our son clapped behind us, daddy is holding mummy in his arms. His words brought me a sense of pain. From the bedroom to the sitting room, then to the door, I walked over ten meters with her in my arms. She closed her eyes and said softly; don't tell our son about the divorce. I nodded, feeling somewhat upset. I put her down outside the door. She went to wait for the bus to work. I drove alone to the office.

On the second day, both of us acted much more easily. She leaned on my chest. I could smell the fragrance of her blouse. I realized that I hadn't looked at this woman carefully for a long time.. I realized she was not young any more. There were fine wrinkles on her face, her hair was graying! Our marriage had taken its toll on her. For a minute I wondered what I had done to her.

On the fourth day, when I lifted her up, I felt a sense of intimacy returning. This was the woman who had given ten years of her life to me.

On the fifth and sixth day, I realized that our sense of intimacy was growing again. I didn't tell Dew about this. It became easier to carry her as the month slipped by. Perhaps the everyday workout made me stronger.

She was choosing what to wear one morning. She tried on quite a few dresses but could not find a suitable one. Then she sighed, all my dresses have grown bigger. I suddenly realized that she had grown so thin, that was the reason why I could carry her more easily.

Suddenly it hit me... she had buried so much pain and bitterness in her heart. Subconsciously I reached out and touched her head.

Our son came in at the moment and said, Dad, it's time to carry mum out. To him, seeing his father carrying his mother out had become an essential part of his life. My wife gestured to our son to come closer and hugged him tightly. I turned my face away because I was afraid I might change my mind at this last minute. I then held her in my arms, walking from the bedroom, through the sitting room, to the hallway. Her hand surrounded my neck softly and naturally. I held her body tightly; it was just like our wedding day.

But her much lighter weight made me sad. On the last day, when I held her in my arms I could hardly move a step. Our son had gone to school. I held her tightly and said, I hadn't noticed that our life lacked intimacy.

I drove to office.... jumped out of the car swiftly without locking the door. I was afraid any delay would make me change my mind...I walked upstairs. Dew opened the door and I said to her, Sorry, Dew, I do not want the divorce anymore.

She looked at me, astonished, and then touched my forehead.. Do you have a fever? She said. I moved her hand off my head. Sorry, Dew, I said, I won't divorce. My marriage life was boring probably because she and I didn't value the details of our lives, not because we didn't love each other any more. Now I realize that since I carried her into my home on our wedding day I am supposed to hold her until death do us apart.

Dew seemed to suddenly wake up. She gave me a loud slap and then slammed the door and burst into tears. I walked downstairs and drove away.

At the floral shop on the way, I ordered a bouquet of flowers for my wife. The salesgirl asked me what to write on the card. I smiled and wrote, I'll carry you out every morning until death do us apart.

That evening I arrived home, flowers in my hands, a smile on my face, I run up stairs, only to find my wife in the bed - dead.

The small details of your lives are what really matter in a relationship. It is not the mansion, the car, property, the money in the bank. These create an environment conducive for happiness but cannot give happiness in themselves. So find time to be your spouse's friend and do those little things for each other that build intimacy. Do have a real happy marriage!

If you don't share this, nothing will happen to you.

If you do, you just might save a marriage.

Many of life's failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up.

Thank you and have a nice day.

One Man's Dream - Sand Art of 2010

Great things are created first only on HUMAN Mind's. Here is a mans dream.

No matter where you are...You can still Help

An old man lived alone. He wanted to spade his potato garden, but it was very hard work. His only son, who would have helped him, was in prison.

The old man wrote a letter to his son and mentioned his predicament.

Dear Son:
I am feeling pretty bad, because it looks like I won't be able to plant my potato garden this year. I hate to miss doing the garden because your mother always loved planting time. I'm just getting too old to be digging up a garden plot. If you were here, all my troubles would be over.I know you would dig the plot for me, if you weren't in prison.
Love, Dad

Shortly, the old man received this telegram
"For HEAVEN'S SAKE, Dad, don't dig up the garden! That's where I buried the GUNS!"

At 4 A.M. the next morning, a dozen FBI agents and local policeofficers showed up and started digging up the entire garden without finding any guns. Confused, the old man wrote another note to his son telling him what happened and asking him what to do next. His son's reply was "Go ahead and plant your potatoes, Dad, It's the best I could do for you from here."

Moral Of the Story -NO MATTER WHERE YOU ARE IN THE WORLD, IF YOU HAVE DECIDED TO DO SOMETHING DEEP FROM YOUR HEART, YOU CAN DO IT. IT IS THE THOUGHT THAT MATTERS NOT WHERE YOU ARE OR WHERE THE PERSON IS...

A Crucial Lesson - Inspirational Story

A child was crying. His father was trying to distract him to no avail. "I don't want to wear these torn out shoes. The child screamed inconsolably. "?ALL my classmates wear new pair of shoes. they run like deer and laugh at pointing to my shoes." The child said innocently.

The father was a poor man with limited means. He wanted his child to b happy n contended with whatever he had,but assured that he Will get a new pair of shoes the next month. when the child was adamant, the father told the boy that he would get them repaired. The child felt happy as he thought the cobbler wont repair his shoes as they were beyond repair.

They reached the cobbler's place "DO u play a lot child"? asked the cobbler, smilingly. "I do n just let us know can u mend them or not"? the child asked in a rude manner. "The shoes r still in good condition and just need a quick fix"? the cobbler assured, looking at the shoes appreciatively.

The child become very angry. He wanted to use harsh words as the cobbler had spoiled his plans of buying new shoes. He thought that now he cant persuade his father into buying a new pair of shoes. "Are there some jewels on my shoes that u r staring for them for so long"? the child screamed. "Nno my child, I used to play a lot before I lost my both legs in an accident. But I don't feel subdued. I enjoy watching young children like u n thank HIM for these eyes"? the cobbler replied calmly.

The child was shocked. He was staring at the cobbler n his amputated legs. Suddenly he looked at the sky. His eyes were moist and hands were open. It seemed as if he was saying "Thanks for everything."?
The father smiled and mumbled. "You have learned an important lesson of life"? And the two went home happily and contended.

No use of Earning, If No Time for Spending

6 PRINCIPLES OF LIFE

1. No point using limited life to chase unlimited money.

2. No point in earning so much money you cannot live to spend it.

3. Money is not yours until you spend it.

4. When you are young, you use your health to chase your wealth; when you are old, you use your wealth to buy back your health. Difference is that, it is too late.

5. How happy a man is, is not how much he has but how little he needs.

6. No point working so hard to provide for the people you have no time to spend with.

Remember this:

We come to this world with nothing,

we leave this world with nothing!

This is the proof that you don't have to have money to be happy.

conclusion: With money one must have time too. both are atmost important in life, without money also you can't live and without time you can't enjoy.

Two choices

What would you do?....you make the choice. Don't look for a punch line, there isn't one. Read it anyway. My question is: Would you have made the same choice?

At a fundraising dinner for a school that serves children with learning disabilities, the father of one of the students delivered a speech that would never be forgotten by all who attended. After extolling the school and its dedicated staff, he offered a question:

'When not interfered with by outside influences, everything nature does, is done with perfection.

Yet my son, Shay, cannot learn things as other children do. He cannot understand things as other children do.

Where is the natural order of things in my son?'

The audience was stilled by the query.

The father continued. 'I believe that when a child like Shay, who was mentally and physically disabled comes into the world, an opportunity to realize true human nature presents itself, and it comes in the way other people treat that child.'

Then he told the following story:

Shay and I had walked past a park where some boys Shay knew were playing baseball. Shay asked, 'Do you think they'll let me play?' I knew that most of the boys would not want someone like Shay on their team, but as a father I also understood that if my son were allowed to play, it would give him a much-needed sense of belonging and some confidence to be accepted by others in spite of his handicaps.

I approached one of the boys on the field and asked (not expecting much) if Shay could play. The boy looked around for guidance and said, 'We're losing by six runs and the game is in the eighth inning. I guess he can be on our team and we'll try to put him in to bat in the ninth inning.'

Shay struggled over to the team's bench and, with a broad smile, put on a team shirt. I watched with a small tear in my eye and warmth in my heart. The boys saw my joy at my son being accepted.

In the bottom of the eighth inning, Shay's team scored a few runs but was still behind by three.

In the top of the ninth inning, Shay put on a glove and played in the right field. Even though no hits came his way, he was obviously ecstatic just to be in the game and on the field, grinning from ear to ear as I waved to him from the stands.

In the bottom of the ninth inning, Shay's team scored again.

Now, with two outs and the bases loaded, the potential winning run was on base and Shay was scheduled to be next at bat.

At this juncture, do the others let Shay bat and give away their chance to win the game?

Surprisingly, Shay was given the bat. Everyone knew that a hit was all but impossible because Shay didn't even know how to hold the bat properly, much less connect with the ball.

However, as Shay stepped up to the plate, the pitcher, recognizing that the other team was putting winning aside for this moment in Shay's life, moved in a few steps to lob the ball in softly so Shay could at least make contact.

The first pitch came and Shay swung clumsily and missed.

The pitcher again took a few steps forward to toss the ball softly towards Shay.

As the pitch came in, Shay swung at the ball and hit a slow ground ball right back to the pitcher.

The game would now be over.

The pitcher picked up the soft grounder and could have easily thrown the ball to the first baseman.

Shay would have been out and that would have been the end of the game.

Instead, the pitcher threw the ball right over the first baseman's head, out of reach of all team mates.

Everyone from the stands and both teams started yelling, 'Shay, run to first!

Run to first!'

Never in his life had Shay ever run that far, but he made it to first base.

He scampered down the baseline, wide-eyed and startled.

Everyone yelled, 'Run to second, run to second!'

Catching his breath, Shay awkwardly ran towards second, gleaming and struggling to make it to the base.

By the time Shay rounded towards second base, the right fielder had the ball. The smallest guy on their team who now had his first chance to be the hero for his team.

He could have thrown the ball to the second-baseman for the tag, but he understood the pitcher's intentions so he, too, intentionally threw the ball high and far over the third-baseman's head.

Shay ran toward third base deliriously as the runners ahead of him circled the bases toward home.

All were screaming, 'Shay, Shay, Shay, all the Way Shay'

Shay reached third base because the opposing shortstop ran to help him by turning him in the direction of third base, and shouted, 'Run to third!

Shay, run to third!'

As Shay rounded third, the boys from both teams, and the spectators, were on their feet screaming, 'Shay, run home! Run home!'

Shay ran to home, stepped on the plate, and was cheered as the hero who hit the grand slam and won the game for his team

'That day', said the father softly with tears now rolling down his face, 'the boys from both teams helped bring a piece of true love and humanity into this world'.

Shay didn't make it to another summer. He died that winter, having never forgotten being the hero and making me so happy, and coming home and seeing his Mother tearfully embrace her little hero of the day !

AND NOW A LITTLE FOOT NOTE TO THIS STORY:

We all send thousands of jokes through the e-mail without a second thought, but when it comes to sending messages about life choices, people hesitate.

The crude, vulgar, and often obscene pass freely through cyberspace, but public discussion about decency is too often suppressed in our schools and workplaces.

If you're thinking about forwarding this message, chances are that you're probably sorting out the people in your address book who aren't the 'appropriate' ones to receive this type of message Well, the person who sent you this believes that we all can make a difference.

We all have thousands of opportunities every single day to help realize the 'natural order of things.'

So many seemingly trivial interactions between two people present us with a choice:

Do we pass along a little spark of love and humanity or do we pass up those opportunities and leave the world a little bit colder in the process?

A wise man once said every society is judged by how it treats its least fortunate amongst them.

You now have two choices:

1. Ignore this message
2. Share this to your loved ones

May your day be a Shay Day! You choose!

It reads "A family united together by the bonds of love and loving relationships, held tight by mutual understandings is a living model of heaven on earth"

My Answers for the best questions

The post "A question that makes you think is worth asking" is one of the famous post in my blog since the beginning of time. I think most of them love the questions over there. These are the answers i got while asking the questions to myself. What may be yours?

Live Positive way and feel the true happiness in life. There's always something to be happy about even if you miss million things in your life.

Definitely yes. but only my beloved's can understand that it is a lie, while everybody else in this world don't even know that i am giving an answer.

This Is the line that i already have on my desktop wallpaper,Always Helped me to do something new, Always helped me to do something with perfection, Always helped to to get back to work while I am browsing on facebook.

yes I am holding on to something for the past 6 months which gave me a lot of pain. but i never thought it to let it go. Because that identified some of the true talent inside me and those experiences are worthwhile to write a 200 page plot (I hope so). But these days are adding pages to it and i am sure that the Plot have the happy ending.

Yes. The habit of reading self improvement books. Only then I realized the happiness that has always been there like the wide open doors to heaven but i never felt all these days in life.

I love my friends and parents who are always been there for me & also i
love my Laptop, Mobile, PC which always helps my work done easily.

Everyday

Strength. A person who cannot cry for loved ones are very weak deep inside the heart.  Somebody's tears just for you is the costliest thing in the world that no one can ever buy with his material wealth.

Yes, I do for sure. All is fair in love and war.

My grand son's SMILE.

I ask much questions to myself. Even i put forth some of the questions that Google cannot answer. So i ask God. He always says with a gentle smile on his face "When you can never find answers to some of your question, Say yourself "This is life & Move on". So i do...

Obviously. That keeps me going. I can never imagine a day without my laptop, PC, Mobile.

This is that moment. I try to answer some of the questions in a nice forwarded message..

Blogging. Sharing something with this world that is truly inspiring and motivational, That may help people to live positive. This work introduce the people of my attitude to me so i love doing it. My blog http://live-positive.blogspot.com/. I'm happy that i have over 500 fans in two months.

I pray to God, that the person should be in my opposite sex and let the person find me as soon as possible so that we can get into the permanent relationship through eternity.

The art of making happiness. The art of making love to everyone.

Time with loved ones.

Definitely yes.
My life is not worse than 70 year old hag, lifting dozens of bricks on a construction work, While i still know the pain of lifting 2KG laptop on a comfortable NIKE back pack.
My life is not worse than 6 month old baby used for for begging on a cross road in midst of very hot sun, while i find it difficult to wait for the green signal inside the air conditioned car
My life is not worse than 45 year old mother* lost her only beloved 8 year old child on an accident, whom she got after 8 years of marriage. ( The mother was Chitra - The popular south Indian singer. Her voice is the only female voice I loved hearing)
I know my life is not fair. But it's still Good. That keeps my days going in-spite of my day to day problems.

On seeing the beauty of full moon rise on the beach
On seeing the sea water glittering on moon light
On seeing the scene of two kittens playing happily with each other.
On seeing a small monkey hanging on a car's side mirror with its tail on busy city

Driving on a road that is clean and silent at night, When i always seen the same road busy with people, noisy and with pollution.
On seeing the smiling faces of the small children inside the school van.
Listening to a baby's voice over telephone.
Feeling the small baby hugs me tightly, while he is sleeping on my shoulder.
Some one is always there for me to share my happiness & joy.

Like the one who read all my answers. :)

Lots of love

Things are to be used; People are to be LOVED

While a man was polishing his new car,
his 4 yr old son picked up a stone
and scratched lines on the side of the car.
In anger, the man took the child's hand
and hit it many times not realizing
he was using a wrench.

At the hospital, the child lost all his fingers
due to multiple fractures.

When the child saw his father.....
with painful eyes he asked, 'Dad when will my fingers grow back?'
The man was so hurt and speechless;
he went back to his car and kicked it a lot of times.

Devastated by his own actions..... .
sitting in front of that car he looked at the scratches;
the child had written 'LOVE YOU DAD'
.

Anger and Love have no limits;
choose the latter to have a beautiful, lovely
life & remember this:
Things are to be used and people are to be loved.
The problem in today's world is
that people are used while things are loved.

Let's try always to keep this thought in mind:
Things are to be used,
People are to be loved.

Watch your thoughts; they become words.
Watch your words; they become actions.
Watch your actions; they become habits.
Watch your habits; they become character;
Watch your character; it becomes your destiny.

I hope you have a good day no matter what problems you may face
it's the only day you'll have before it's over.

Here is a must watch video for each and every child in this planet. Watch with speakers on. Take the chance to share this with as many as possible like i did.

True love doesn't exist only on screens

Are you one of the person who really think that true love exist only on movies or in stories, then this is the post for you.

Yesterday on my casual browsing in yahoo answers, I found a question "How to keep your spouse happy" which was answered by 63 year old male "Jagannath" which was rated as the best answer by hundreds of them. After reading the answer i strongly believe that true love doesn't exist only on screens but also on real life of many people and when felt in real life it is far more pleasurable than what we see on movies & hear on stories. Can anyone really love his spouse this much for 63 years and even after her death?

Here is his answer for the question "How to keep your spouse happy?"

Answer

What I studied in my married life of 63 years are:
1. Understanding each other's likes and dislikes.
2. More percentage of equal mindedness in many aspects of life.
3. Knowing that Men and Women are mentally and bodily very different and always trying to
understand this which is necessary for coordination and compromising. Both should study their
body anatomy i.e., different functions of their body and understand well about the pros and cons.
4. Be supportive of each other in their profession.
5. Know that Men are very sex oriented and women are security oriented.
6. Always respect each other as Mother Nature's creation without discriminating in the name of sex.
7. Knowing both are complimentaries to each other and not a burden or dependents.
8. Knowing that Excess in anything is bad (this includes sex).
9. Never adopt egostic attitude in any matter.

I felt very happy at least some people on this earth thinks in this important aspect of life.
I am very happy to answer this question. All the best my dear. I was having the best wife in my life for 25 years who left this world 5 years agao by premature death without responding to the treatment to her multiple health complications. She taught me that how any human being could live happily while they are alive for a short period on this planet. She behaved like an angel till her last breath. I learnt best of the things from her i.., To forget yesterday - to live happily, enjoy and be useful to someone today - Not to worry but to plan for tomorrow, as tomorrow is another today. She will be in my body (not only in my heart) till my last breath. If there is God (I do not believe in such invisible things, except Mother Nature a visible Goddess), I request to take me to her wherever she is to join and to be with her for ever.
I am getting tears in my eyes, while answering this question. Such was the impact of her presence in my life. Thank you very much for making me remember that great soul which made me to know that THE LIFE IS SHORT ON THIS PLANET AND TO MAKE IT SWEET BY CONTINUOUS EFFORT.

Do you really think LOVE has limits?

Taste of Salty Coffee

He met her on a party. She was so outstanding, many guys chasing after her, while he was so normal, nobody paid attention to him. At the end of the party, he invited her to have coffee with him, she was surprised, but due to being polite, she promised. They sat in a nice coffee shop, he was too nervous to say anything, she felt uncomfortable, she thought, please, let me go home.. Suddenly he asked the waiter:

"Would you please give me some salt? I'd like to put it in my coffee."

Everybody stared at him, so strange! His face turned red, but, still, he put the salt in his coffee and drank it.

She asked him curiously: why you have this hobby?

He replied: "when I was a little boy, I was living near the sea, I liked playing in the sea, I could feel the taste of the sea, just like the taste of the salty coffee. Now every time I have the salty coffee, I always think of my childhood, think of my hometown, I miss my hometown so much, I miss my parents who are still living there".

While saying that tears filled his eyes. She was deeply touched.

That's his true feeling, from the bottom of his heart. A man who can tell out his homesickness, he must be a man who loves home, cares about home, has responsibility of home.. Then she also started to speak, spoke about her faraway hometown, her childhood, her family.

That was a really nice talk, also a beautiful beginning of their story. They continued to date. She found that actually he was a man who meets all her demands; he had tolerance, was kind hearted, warm, careful. He was such a good person but she almost missed him!

Thanks to his salty coffee! Then the story was just like every beautiful love story, the princess married to the prince, then they were living the happy life... And, every time she made coffee for him, she put some salt in the coffee, as she knew that's the way he liked it.

After 40 years, he passed away, left her a letter which said: "My dearest, please forgive me, forgive my whole life lie. This was the only lie I said to you---the salty coffee. Remember the first time we dated? I was so nervous at that time, actually I wanted some sugar, but I said salt It was hard for me to change so I just went ahead.

I never thought that could be the start of our communication! I tried to tell you the truth many times in my life, but I was too afraid to do that, as I have promised not to lie to you for anything..

Now I'm dying, I afraid of nothing so I tell you the truth: I don't like the salty coffee, what a strange bad taste.. But I have had the salty coffee for my whole life! Since I knew you, I never feel sorry for anything I do for you. Having you with me is my biggest happiness for my whole life. If I can live for the second time, still want to know you and have you for my whole life, even though I have to drink the salty coffee again".

Her tears made the letter totally wet.

Someday, someone asked her: what's the taste of salty coffee? It's sweet. She replied.
